Description
The GBS Executive Advisory Program by The Hackett Group aims to assist executives overseeing business services, including back-office support processes and knowledge-centric activities through a global business services organization. Members of this program typically hold positions such as (senior) vice presidents of global business services, shared services directors/managers, strategy directors/managers, and (senior) vice presidents/directors of business transformation. As part of our advisory service, clients benefit from unlimited access to Hackett's leading intellectual property and research, complemented by a dedicated advisory team to help them achieve their specific goals. In this role, you will focus on researching GBS-specific topics such as GBS Location selection strategy, GBS Service Management, GBS Service delivery strategy, GBS Governance model, establishing & running a GBS operations, Process maturity within GBS centers, GBS Talent Management, Globalization, Digital Transformation, and the use of AI in GBS. You will collaborate with various stakeholders within the GBS Executive Advisory program, including Senior Analysts, Team Leaders, Managers, Functional Practice Leaders, Business Advisors, and Research Directors based in the US and Europe to support research requirements for short-term client projects (client inquiries). Your primary responsibility as an Analyst will be to manage and complete client inquiries, utilizing both internal (Hackett IP) and external (secondary sources) research. Additionally, you will provide analytic support as needed and ensure the delivery of high-quality client reports and presentations. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize secondary research and Hackett proprietary resources to address client inquiries effectively - Conduct both secondary and primary research with a focus on GBS industry dynamics - Take ownership of client deliverables produced by the GBS team - Gather location-specific information through research - Safeguard intellectual property and ensure confidentiality - Collaborate with other functions to gather or provide relevant data - Conduct in-depth research to develop a comprehensive understanding of target business functions, industries, and opportunities - Create error-free and structured deliverables such as business reports, presentations, and spreadsheets - Communicate research findings through well-designed PowerPoint presentations - Undertake ad hoc research, knowledge-building, and business development projects as required Essential Skills: - Strong capabilities in conducting secondary and primary research - Interest and knowledge in GBS/Shared Services/offshoring/outsourcing industry - Ability to assist clients in solving complex business problems - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Dynamic, flexible, and perseverant mindset - Proficiency in data analytics, research skills, and working with secondary research databases - Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines - Experience in customer relationship management and professional communication skills Preferred Skills: - Strong problem-solving abilities - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Exposure to global economics is a plus - Self-motivated and fast learner with the ability to work independently - An MBA from a leading business school is preferred - Proactive thinking and ability to work under pressure - Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen About Us: [The Hackett Group],
