Associate Analyst, EHS

As an EHS Associate Analyst/Analyst at Colgate-Palmolive Company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and global regulatory compliance of our products. Your main responsibility will be to create and maintain accurate and compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for our chemicals and products. This is crucial for accurately communicating product hazards and ensuring adherence to local, national, and international health and safety regulations, thus reinforcing the trust and quality associated with the Colgate-Palmolive brand. **Responsibilities:** - Create, review, and update SDS for our chemicals and products in compliance with regional and international regulations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather detailed product information and resolve any discrepancies in data. - Stay current with evolving chemical regulations to align SDS documents with the latest requirements in product distribution regions. - Conduct quality checks on SDS documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of hazard information. - Maintain organized records of SDS creation, updates, and distribution for audit and compliance purposes. - Assist in addressing internal and external inquiries regarding chemical safety information. **Required Qualifications:** - Master's degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry or a related scientific field preferred. - Strong foundation in chemistry or related field with a passion for learning. - Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork. - Knowledge of raw materials and their environmental, health, and safety profiles. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Knowledge of SAP EHS Domain. - Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks. - Understanding of company-specific data systems, particularly SAP EHS Domain. - Openness to new technologies and methodologies in EHS.
