Job Description

As a System Administrator at BMC, you will be a part of a team responsible for providing support on Windows, Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker & Virtualization technologies. Your role will involve maintaining and supporting all OS platforms, as well as private and public cloud deployments. Here is how you will contribute to BMC's success: - Provide support for TSSA / Bladelogic in AWS, Azure, Oracle & Google Cloud Environments - Troubleshoot, Support, and maintain Public and Private cloud - Troubleshoot performance degradation or loss of service as time-critical incidents - Assess and communicate risks based on complexity, resource, and timeline constraints - OS Compliance and patching for Windows, Linux, and Virtualization Platforms - Support and maintain private and public cloud deployment - Build and provision customer environments on AWS/Virtual infrastructure - Work in cross-functional teams globally Qualifications Required: - Experience in System Administration - Experience in Linux & Windows operating systems - Experience in VMware - Experience in scripting - Experience in TSSA / Bladelogic - Experience in Change & Incident Management Tools - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work as a part of a team as well as independently - Problem-solving skills mixed with creative thinking to reach out-of-the-box solutions - Availability for on-call shifts BMC is an award-winning, equal opportunity, culturally diverse organization that values community engagement and innovation.
