Your key responsibilities include managing work across various areas of the bank's IT platform, developing engineering solutions, ensuring reliability and resiliency, and participating in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies. You will be responsible for leading the engineering delivery for specific departments, developing UI components using React.js and JavaScript, defining and enforcing best practices for UI development, collaborating with UI/UX designers and backend developers, and contributing to architecture and design decisions for scalable frontend systems. Your skills should include hands-on coding in Java & frontend development, proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, node.js, React.js, HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and responsive design. Desirable skills that will help you excel in this role include prior experience in Agile/scrum environments, proficiency in UI frameworks/libraries such as React/Angular/Vue/Next, knowledge of REST-based Architecture, Design Patterns, cross-browser development, unit testing, and exposure to cloud platforms. You should possess strong problem-solving and communication skills along with a working knowledge of GIT, Jenkins, CICD, Gradle, DevOps, and SRE techniques.
