As an employee at Citi, your role in the Analytics and Information Management (AIM) team involves driving data-driven transformation across the organization to create actionable intelligence for business leaders. Your responsibilities include: - Providing quantitative and qualitative insights on user experience and data set performance. - Working with cross-functional teams and leaders to model critical business decisions. - Identifying opportunities to leverage data science for operational efficiency improvements. - Assimilating business requirements and technical aspects. - Assisting data architects and data analysts in data gathering techniques and design processes. - Ensuring high data integrity by selecting the best tools and techniques for algorithms, frameworks, and technologies. - Designing and developing new processes for data modeling and production. - Collaborating with multi-functional teams on projects. - Setting goals, defining KPIs, and measuring the improvement of data analytics processes. - Analyzing data modeling, revenue generation, and targeting. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes: - Demonstrated experience in complex Data Science projects. - Knowledge of all phases of SDLC. - Good understanding of Banking domain and Finance Regulations. - Exposure to business intelligence, data warehousing/platform, and data strategy projects. - Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Qualifications required for this role include: - BSc and MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or related field. - Minimum of 7 years of working experience in Data Science & ML areas. - Solid theoretical and hands-on knowledge of Econometrics, Statistics, Data Mining, Machine Learning & AI concepts. - Exceptional programming skills in Data Science scripting (e.g., Python / R). - Experience in SQL and interpretation of large databases. - Analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to think strategically and drive results. - Effective communication of results and technical methodologies to non-technical audiences. Additional qualifications considered a plus include experience with Cloud Technologies, ML lifecycle, ML Ops, Agentic AI, and Visualization tools.
