Role Overview: As a Manager in the Due Diligence department at BDO India, you will play a crucial role in conducting procedure reviews by verifying records, meeting key persons, and analyzing data to identify potential risks and provide insights for transaction structuring. Your primary responsibility will involve developing a deep understanding of the target business, leading client engagements, and ensuring the production of high-quality deliverables within agreed timelines. Key Responsibilities: - Develop a comprehensive understanding of the target business including its competitive positioning, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges - Lead client engagements as an Engagement Manager, overseeing project execution and providing valuable insights - Analyze information memoranda, business plans, and other relevant data to evaluate the target business - Produce quality deliverables such as Excel and PowerPoint documents, reviewing historical trading data, projections, and key financial metrics - Identify key issues impacting valuation, provide advisory on addressing these issues, and maintain strong client relationships - Ensure compliance with risk management procedures and proactively resolve risk issues with Partner support - Contribute to knowledge sharing efforts, process improvement, team building, and mentorship - Work on business development activities including proposals and cost estimates Qualifications Required: - At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in Due Diligence - Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification Additional Details: At BDO India, we are committed to providing thorough Due Diligence services to our clients.
