As a Manager in the Due Diligence department at BDO India, your role involves developing a deep understanding of the target business, including its competitive positioning, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges. You will be responsible for leading the execution of client services as an Engagement Manager, overseeing project teams, and providing valuable insights to enhance the quality of deliverables. **Key Responsibilities:** - Interpret, evaluate, and analyze information memoranda, business plans, and publicly available information related to the target business. - Lead the team during project execution, review reports, and provide value-added inputs to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Review historical trading, cash flow, and balance sheets, as well as projections and underlying assumptions. - Identify key issues impacting valuation and provide recommendations to address them. - Build and manage strong client relationships, ensuring compliance with risk management procedures. - Contribute to knowledge sharing efforts, continuously improving processes to leverage knowledge effectively. - Mentor and coach team members, demonstrate strong leadership qualities, and actively participate in business development activities. **Qualifications Required:** - At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in Due Diligence - CA qualification In this role, you will need to demonstrate analytical capabilities, creative thinking, strong technical knowledge, leadership qualities, persistence, and effective interpersonal skills.
