Assistant Technical Engineer

Qualifications: B tech In civil Engineering/Diploma In Civil Engineering

Core Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Design: Assisting in the creation of project plans, technical drawings, and specifications. This often involves using computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop detailed layouts and schematics.
• Site Supervision and Inspection: Regularly visiting construction sites to monitor progress, ensure work aligns with technical drawings and specifications, and perform quality control checks on materials and construction methods.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining meticulous records of project progress, material usage, and on-site activities. They prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for senior engineers and other stakeholders.
• Cost Estimation: Assisting with the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for projects by calculating the quantities of materials and labor needed.

Technical and Operational Duties

• Technical Support: Providing hands-on support for various technical tasks, including material testing (e.g., concrete slump tests) and ensuring all work adheres to industry standards and building codes, such as the Indian Standards (IS) codes.
• Safety and Compliance: Implementing and enforcing safety protocols on-site, ensuring all workers are using proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and that the project complies with all environmental and safety regulations.
• Coordination: Acting as a key link between senior engineers, contractors, and on-site laborers. They help in resolving technical issues that arise during the construction phase and ensure smooth communication and workflow.
• Surveying and Data Collection: Assisting with surveying tasks to collect data on site conditions, topography, and existing structures, which is then used for design and planning.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
