Assistant Shift Incharge

As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production shift operations according to plant policies and procedures. Your key responsibilities include: - Supervising production shift employees and providing necessary training and coaching. - Conducting performance reviews for all employees on your shift. - Managing the shift schedule, including workstation assignments, rotations, training, vacations, breaks, overtime, and shift rotations. - Coordinating production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers efficiently. - Scheduling and leading shift meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment. - Ensuring that shift production goals are met by implementing quality control measures and making adjustments as needed. - Operating within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) to maintain a safe working environment. - Collaborating with other Shift supervisors and the Plant Manager to optimize production processes. - Maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times. - Completing all shift paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. - Assisting in production activities as required. - Performing any other duties as assigned. In terms of qualifications, the ideal candidate should have: - A minimum of 5 years of work experience in the chemical industry with a B.Sc. in Chemistry. - Full-time job availability.
