About the role

The incumbent would be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities related to the

pre-launch phase of the properties in the mid-market segment, ensuring that the property is fully

prepared to deliver exceptional guest experiences from day one. This role involves strategic planning,

operational setup, recruitment, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to achieve

the hotel's opening goals within set timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

? Pre-Opening Planning, Coordination & Project Management

? Develop and implement the pre-opening project plan, including timelines, budgets,

and operational milestones

? Collaborate with various departments to ensure all pre-opening requirements are met

? Act as the central point of contact between the hotel and contractors to ensure the

execution is as per the schedule

? Coordinate with finance team for the vendor payouts and other payments are

disbursed on time

? Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and service

standards

? Assist in developing pre-opening budgets and track expenditures to ensure cost

efficiency.

? Work extensively with the finance, revenue and intelligence teams to project the P&L

for the upcoming properties

? Operational Readiness

? Ensure all operational policies, SOPs, and service standards are developed and

implemented

? Coordinate procurement of operating supplies and equipment (OS&E) and furniture,

fixtures, and equipment (FF&E)

? Oversee the installation and setup of systems, technology, and guest service

platforms

? Compliance & Quality Assurance

? Ensure all permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements are secured prior to opening

? Conduct quality inspections and operational readiness checks across all

departments

? Opening Launch Support

? Address any last-minute operational or logistical challenges and get them resolved

Ensure a seamless transition from pre-opening to operational status

What are we looking for

? Prior experience in hotel pre-opening projects, luxury or upscale property launches

? Exceptional project management and organizational skills

? Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

? Comfortable with data analysis and various revenue related metrics used in hospitality

? Street smartness and quick learnability
