You would be working as an Assistant Professor (Quantitative Methods) at Globsyn Business School located in Kolkata at Globsyn Knowledge Campus, Amtala. Your responsibilities would involve teaching, mentoring students, and actively participating in institutional building activities. You would be required to develop program curriculum in association with the Knowledge Cell based on market requirements under the supervision of the Principal. Additionally, organizing a requisite number of Management Development Programs (MDPs) and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) with domestic universities would be part of your job role. Moreover, you should consult with large domestic or international companies as per the NBA criteria and collaborate with the industry for consulting assignments. Demonstrating a high degree of research proficiency and being accountable for writing and publishing articles both domestically and globally is essential. Connecting with Alumni for various institute activities and contributing to the educational institution's growth at local, regional, and global levels are also expected from you. Encouraging and motivating students through various experiential learning activities beyond the classroom is an integral part of the role. Qualifications Required: - A full-time Masters in Statistics or Economics with 60% marks in the concerned/relevant discipline from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university - Clearing the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET - Possessing a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission will be an added advantage - Minimum of 4 Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals including books, research periodicals, consultancy projects, and a filed patent - Articles published in journals/book chapters indexed in various databases like SCOPUS, J-GATE, ABDC, ICI, ABS, GOOGLE SCHOLAR, UGC CARE, WORLDCAT, WEB OF SCIENCE (WOC), SCIMAGO, DOAJ, SAGE, SSCI, PRO-QUEST, COPERNICUS, JSTOR, RESEARCHGATE, SJIF, ACADEMIA EDU, EBSCO, SSRN, FT 50, RSQUAREL - Books published should have ISBN specific to the book, and journals published should have ISSN and preferably DOI The campus address is Globsyn Knowledge Campus, Mouza Chandi, PS Bishnupur JL No. 101, Kolkata, West Bengal 743503.
