Role Description

The Assistant Professor: Pharmacy position is a full-time, on-site role based in Kanpur. The role involves delivering lectures, creating comprehensive lesson plans, mentoring students, conducting academic research, and participating in departmental activities. Additional responsibilities include guiding students in laboratory work, evaluating assignments and exam performance, and contributing to curriculum development. The Assistant Professor is also expected to stay updated on advancements in the pharmacy field and participate in faculty development programs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in Pharmacy subjects and academic expertise in areas such as pharmaceutics, pharmacology, and pharmacognosy.
• Experience in teaching, course planning, and student mentoring.
• Research skills, including the ability to conduct and publish high-quality academic research.
• Proficiency in practical laboratory techniques and training students in experimental work.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Ph.D. in Pharmacy or related field (preferred) or Master's degree with relevant teaching and research experience.
• Prior experience in curriculum development and academic administration (preferred).
• Ability to collaborate with faculty teams and contribute to institutional goals.
