Job Title: Assistant/Associate Professor – Operation Theatre Technology

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Operation Theatre Technology / Anaesthesia & OT Technology / relevant Allied Health Sciences discipline from a recognized university.
• Ph.D. in Operation Theatre Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching/clinical/research experience in Operation Theatre Technology or Surgical/Anesthesia settings.
• Strong academic record and practical exposure in surgical/operation theatre management.
• Candidates should meet UGC norms as applicable.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in Operation Theatre Technology.
• Develop, update, and deliver curriculum aligned with surgical and clinical practices.
• Guide students in clinical postings, dissertations, and research projects.
• Supervise hands-on training in operation theatres, hospitals, and simulation labs.
• Conduct independent and collaborative research; publish in reputed journals.
• Mentor students for professional growth and prepare them for clinical excellence.
• Organize departmental workshops, skill development programs, and hospital collaborations.
• Actively participate in departmental and university academic committees.

Desirable Qualifications & Skills

• Specialization in areas such as Operation Technology, Surgical Procedures, Emergency & Critical Care, or OT Management.
• Clinical expertise in surgical assistance, sterilization techniques, OT equipment handling, and infection control protocols.
• Familiarity with modern surgical tools, laparoscopic equipment, and patient safety protocols.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare and research teams.

Pay Scale

₹30,000 – ₹70,000 per month (commensurate with qualifications and experience).
