Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science (CSE) at Amity University Ranchi. The role involves delivering high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate-level lectures, guiding students in research and practical projects, and contributing to curriculum development within the Computer Science and Engineering domain. The Assistant Professor will participate in departmental activities, foster an innovative learning environment, and contribute to research publications and conferences to uphold the academic standards of the university.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in core Computer Science domains such as Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Programming.
• Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing and implementing modern educational practices and standards.
• A background in research and specialization in areas like Data Science, AI/ML, or Cybersecurity is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Programming languages and tools relevant to Computer Science, with a focus on hands-on teaching approaches.
• Exceptional communication and mentoring skills to engage and guide students effectively.
• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates with a Master's degree and significant teaching or industry experience may also apply.
• Demonstrated ability to publish research in peer-reviewed journals and participate in academic or industry conferences is an advantage.
