Assistant Professor in Printing Technology

• Teaching and instruction:
• Teach and develop lesson plans for undergraduate courses in printing technology, including topics such as offset, flexography, screen printing, digital printing, and packaging.
• Conduct practical sessions and workshops in printing labs.
• Administer tests and evaluate student progress, providing feedback to department heads.
• Research and publication:
• Conduct high-quality research in relevant areas of printing technology.
• Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at academic conferences.
• Seek grants and external funding to support research projects.
• Mentorship and student support:
• Advise and mentor students on their academic and career development.
• Provide guidance on course selection and program requirements.
• Curriculum and administration:
• Develop and update course materials and curricula to ensure they are current and industry-relevant.
• Assist with departmental duties, including administrative tasks, meetings, and committee work.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other departments on research and teaching initiatives.
• Represent the university at conferences and events.

Required qualifications

• Education:
• A Master's degree (M.Tech) or Ph.D. in Printing Technology or a related field is typically required.
• Experience:
• Some roles may prefer candidates with industry experience or a minimum of 1–3 years of teaching experience.
• Skills:
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent teaching and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and technologies.
