Assistant Professor in Design

As a Design Faculty member, your role involves conducting lectures, studio sessions, and workshops in various design subjects such as Animation & Gaming, Experiential Graphic Design, UI/UX, Communication Design, Product Design, New Media, and Visual Design. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing lesson plans, assignments, and project briefs that are aligned with curriculum requirements. - Assisting in designing, updating, and improving the curriculum to match current industry practices and academic standards. - Integrating new technologies, design thinking, and sustainability concepts into the curriculum. - Collaborating with industry professionals, visiting faculty, and external organizations for seminars, workshops, and live projects. - Organizing exhibitions, design shows, and competitions. - Supporting admissions, student orientation, and promotional activities. Qualifications required for this role: - A degree in Design or a related field. - Prior experience in teaching or industry practice in design. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Knowledge of current industry trends and technologies in the design field.
