Assistant Professor in Design

You will be playing a crucial role in shaping the future of design education as an Assistant Professor in Design at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). Your primary focus will be at the intersection of creativity and critical thinking, guiding learners to develop into bold problem-solvers and proficient visual storytellers. Your responsibilities will include teaching specialized courses such as UX/UI, Product Design, Game Design, or Communication Design. You will also be engaged in mentoring students in design-led thinking, prototyping, and research-based studio work. Furthermore, you will be contributing to academic discourse through research activities and design exhibitions. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver industry-aligned programs will also be a key aspect of your role. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D. in Design with expertise in any of the following domains: UX/UI, Game Design, Media & Film, Product Design, Media & Visual Communication, or Communication Design. While 4 years of academic/industry experience in relevant creative fields is preferred, freshers are also encouraged to apply. Strong facilitation and communication skills are essential, and your portfolio should demonstrate curiosity, conceptual rigor, and leadership in design.
