Assistant Professor – Hindi Department (Immediate Joining)

St. Francis Evening College, a reputed institution affiliated with Bengaluru City University, and NAAC Accredited with B++ Grade, invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Hindi. The candidate must have a strong academic background, teaching experience, and a passion for student-centric learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate students Hindi language and literature courses
• Prepare lesson plans, deliver lectures, and conduct internal assessments
• Support students in academic mentoring and co-curricular activities
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and NAAC-related documentation
• Contribute to academic research and institutional development

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in Hindi with at least 55% marks (as per UGC norms)
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level
• Desirable: Ph.D. / NET / SLET qualified (preferably)
• Proficiency in using ICT tools in teaching and evaluation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type & Remuneration:

• Full-time
• Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, as per institutional norms
