Assistant Professor - Finance & Accounting

Teaching Undergraduate students of BBA Maritime Logistics programme.

Responsibilities:
Teaching and Instruction:Deliver engaging and high-quality lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Finance and Accounting to undergraduate students of the BBA Maritime Logistics programme.Develop and update course curricula, syllabi, and teaching materials relevant to the specific needs of maritime logistics students.Employ innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning and engagement.Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, presentations, and other evaluation methods.Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress.Curriculum Development:Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Finance & Accounting curriculum within the BBA Maritime Logistics programme.Ensure the curriculum aligns with industry best practices and the evolving needs of the maritime and logistics sector.Integrate relevant case studies and real-world examples from the maritime and logistics industry into course content.Student Support:Mentor and advise undergraduate students on academic and career-related matters.Hold regular office hours to provide individual support and guidance to students.Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

Knowledge of Finance, Accounting, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Teaching skills

Exp.- Experience preferred

Education- B.Com. at graduate level and with either CA/ICWA or with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in M.Com. AND passed NET/SET/SLET/IMU Eligibility test
ORPhD. in Commerce / Finance / Accounting
