Navigation and Seamanship : Plan and execute safe and efficient navigation of the vessel, considering weather conditions, traffic, and any other potential hazards. Ensure compliance with international and local maritime regulations. Supervise and train deck officers and crew in navigation procedures and safety protocols. Conduct regular navigational assessments and drills. 2. Safety and Emergency Response : Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of the crew, passengers, and the vessel. Coordinate and lead emergency response drills and exercises. Take immediate and effective action in emergency situations to ensure the safety of the vessel and its occupants. 3.
