Job Summary:

The Department of English at Avviare Educational Hub, Noida is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for the position of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in English Literature, Language, and Communication, conducting research, and participating in academic and administrative activities of the department and college.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate discussions in undergraduate English courses.
• Develop course materials, syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments in accordance with the curriculum.
• Conduct internal assessments, set question papers, and evaluate answer scripts.
• Guide students in academic projects, presentations, and extra-curricular literary activities.
• Engage in scholarly research and contribute to academic publications.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and college events.
• Mentor and support students in their academic and career development.
• Maintain updated knowledge in the field of English language and literature.
• Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the Head of Department/Principal.

Qualifications:

• Essential:
• Master’s Degree in English (M.A.) .
• Preference would be given to NET qualified (National Eligibility Test) or possess a Ph.D. in English as per UGC regulations.
• Desirable:
• Ph.D. in English or related discipline.
• Experience in teaching at the undergraduate level.
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Proficiency in digital teaching tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Remuneration: up to 25000
