About the Department

• Deliver effective lectures, conduct tutorials, and manage laboratory sessions for various subjects in the Electrical Engineering curriculum (e.g., Power Systems, Electrical Machines, Control Systems, Power Electronics).
• Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and teaching methodologies.
• Guide and supervise student projects (UG/PG), dissertations, and academic assignments.
• Evaluate student performance using appropriate assessment methods.

2. Research and Development

• Undertake and lead

  research projects

  in specialized areas of Electrical Engineering.
• Publish research findings in high-impact

  peer-reviewed journals

  and present at national/international conferences.
• Actively seek and secure

  external research funding

  and grants.
• Mentor research scholars and build a strong research culture within the department.

3. Institutional and Departmental Service

• Participate in departmental activities such as curriculum development, accreditation processes, and administrative duties.
• Act as a faculty advisor, providing guidance and support to students.
• Contribute to the organization of seminars, workshops, conferences, and outreach programs.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training activities.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Education(Mandatory): Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering

Academic Degree: M.Sc. / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Teaching Experience:

National Eligibility: NET / SET
