The Koneru Lakshmaiah Charities was established as a trust in 1980, with its official address at Museum Road, Governorpet, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh 520002, and started K L College of Engineering in the academic year 1980-81.

K L Deemed to be University was established in 1980-81 as K L College of Engineering, which was upgraded to K L College of Engineering Autonomous in 2006 by the UGC and was declared a Deemed to be University in 2009 by the UGC, MHRD, Government of India. In 2012, as a Deemed to be University, the institution was accredited by NAAC with an A grade, and later in 2018, it was re-accredited by NAAC with an A++ grade. In 2019, UGC, MHRD declared this institution a Category I Institution.

K L Deemed to be University is situated on a spacious 100-acre campus, with a built-up area of over 2,000,000 square feet, on the banks of the Buckingham Canal of the Krishna River. The campus is eight kilo meters from Vijayawada city. Built within a rural setting of verdant green fields, the institute is a virtual paradise of pristine nature and idyllic beauty. The campus has been aptly named "Green Fields," and the splendid avenue of trees and gardens testifies to the importance of ecology and the environment. Job Summary

The Department of Multidisciplinary Innovation & Entrepreneurship (MDI&E) at K.L. University invite applications for faculty positions at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, a passion for teaching, and an excellent research portfolio in one or more of the specialized areas listed below.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in department and related specialization subjects.
• Supervise B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. student projects and theses.
• Conduct and publish high-quality research in reputed peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Apply for funded research projects from national and international agencies.
• Contribute to the development of laboratories and research infrastructure.
• Actively participate in departmental, institutional, and academic development activities.

Areas of Specialization MDI&E Department:

• Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Business Model Canvas (BMC), Minimum Viable Product (MVP), Customer Validation
• Prototyping: 3D Printing, PCB Design, Arduino, Figma, etc.

Eligibility Criteria MDI&E Department

• Ph.D. in Innovation / Entrepreneurship / Design / Liberal Arts
• Masters degree in engineering / design / management / Innovation
• A strong research profile with publications in SCI and/or Scopus-indexed journal

Experience:

Relevant teaching experience in academia or research experience in reputed institutions/organizations is required.
