Assistant Professor-Communication Skills

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching & Curriculum:
• Deliver lectures and tutorials in English language, literature, critical theory, and communication skills.
• Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
• Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Research & Scholarship:
• Conduct original research and publish in peer-reviewed journals and books.
• Attend and present at academic conferences and workshops.
• Seek research grants and funding.
• Student Mentorship:
• Provide academic, career, and project guidance to undergraduate and graduate students.
• Mentor students on dissertations and other academic pursuits.
• Service & Administration:
• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and curriculum design.
• Assist with student recruitment, admissions, and placement activities.
• Contribute to outreach programs and departmental events.
• Professional Development:
• Stay updated on new developments in English studies.
• Engage in continuous learning through workshops and seminars.
