Operating and Maintaining Equipment: Printing assistants operate and maintain printing presses, bindery equipment, and other related machinery. Inventory Management: Printing assistants may also be responsible for stocking and managing supplies, including ink, paper, and other materials. Assisting with Finishing Operations: They may assist with tasks like binding, folding, and other finishing processes to prepare the printed materials for distribution. Customer Service (in some settings): In retail print shops, printing assistants may also interact with customers, take orders, and provide customer service. Basic Maintenance: They may be responsible for performing routine maintenance on printing and bindery equipment, including cleaning and lubricating machines. Additional Skills: Technical Proficiency: Experience with various printing technologies and equipment is essential.
