As an Assistant Merchant at FashionC Overseas Exports Pvt Ltd, your role will involve assisting the seniors and merchants in planning the sampling process. You will collaborate with the design and product development team to understand customer requirements, trends, and specifications, as well as assist in creating product prototypes and samples. Your sourcing skills will be essential in offering curated designs, swatches, etc to meet buyers" needs. You will work closely with production teams to monitor garment production progress, track schedules, address production-related issues, and ensure timely order completion. Additionally, you will coordinate with the sampling incharge and buyers, demonstrating a good understanding of fabrics and production processes. Monitoring and analyzing production costs to maintain market competitiveness and handling bill clearances will also be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising - Good communication skills, both written and verbal - Previous experience in an export house/buying house - Residing in Noida FashionC Overseas Exports Pvt Ltd is offering a full-time position with a salary range of 15,000 - 25,000 CTC.
