Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Execute all field processes in line with HSEF guidelines, statutory requirements, and environmental discharge norms.
Support in achieving production targets and maintaining product quality.
Assist during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of process units.
Monitor and ensure adherence to operating procedures during start-up, normal operation, and shutdown.
Promote resource optimization and minimize waste generation.
Assist in troubleshooting process issues and respond effectively to plant emergencies.
Monitor the performance of static and rotary equipment, ensuring maintenance and hot jobs comply with safety standards.
Maintain housekeeping standards and oversee proper disposal/handling of waste materials.
Record and monitor process parameters of equipment and machinery accurately and timely.
Support overall plant operations while ensuring compliance with safety, statutory, and environmental practices.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications

Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a reputed college.
5-12 years of relevant experience in petrochemicals, chemicals, or refinery operations preferred.
Experience in continuous Manufacturing Process will be preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of chemical process operations and plant equipment (static and rotary).
Familiarity with HSEF guidelines and statutory compliance requirements.
Ability to work in shifts and handle plant emergencies.
Strong observation and reporting skills.

Team-oriented with good communication skills.
