Roles and Responsibilities:

Perform manual application penetration tests on web applications, internal applications, APIs, and mobile applications to discover and exploit vulnerabilities.
Conduct thorough assessments of application architecture and business logic to identify security weaknesses.
Utilize strong understanding of web applications, cryptography, and various operating systems to enhance security measures.
Analyze and exploit vulnerabilities in Microsoft platforms used in enterprise environments, including Windows Servers and Active Directory.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle.
Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve testing methodologies.

Skills Required:

Strong hands-on experience in Web Application Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessment, and Web Application Security
Experience with API and mobile application penetration testing
Proficiency in manual testing methods and vulnerability exploitation techniques
Good understanding of cryptography, application architecture, and business logic vulnerabilities
Experience with Microsoft environments including Windows Server and Active Directory
Knowledge of industry-standard tools such as (examples): Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, Kali Linux, etc.
Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, SANS, and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks
Understanding of secure SDLC and DevSecOps practices
