Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose:

EVA

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & Vendor Management

• Source and procure EVA, JB, and Ribbon materials from approved suppliers.
  
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships (domestic & international).
  
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contract terms.
  
• Ensure supplier compliance with quality, reliability, and sustainability standards.
  
• Monitor supplier performance through regular evaluation.
  

2. Demand Planning & Inventory Management

• Coordinate with planning and production teams to forecast material requirements.
  
• Maintain optimum inventory levels to meet production targets while minimizing holding costs.
  
• Monitor usage trends and material yield to anticipate future needs.
  
• Implement safety stock and reorder point mechanisms for critical items.
  

3. Cost Management & Budgeting

• Analyze market trends and work on cost reduction strategies.
  
• Prepare and monitor procurement budgets for EVA, JB, and Ribbon categories.
  
• Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain.
  

4. Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with production, quality, stores, and finance departments for smooth SCM operations.
  
• Coordinate with logistics for inbound shipments, customs clearance (for imports), and timely delivery to plant.
  
• Work closely with QA/QC to manage material inspection and rejections, if any.
  

5. Compliance & Systems

• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation—Purchase Orders (POs), contracts, vendor data, GRNs, etc.
  
• Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for procurement and inventory tracking.
  
• Support audit and compliance activities with appropriate documentation.
