Assistant Manager- US Taxation (1065/1120)

You will be responsible for leading and managing the preparation and review of complex U.S. business entity tax returns, including 1065, 1120, and 1120S returns. As an Assistant Manager U.S. Taxation, you should be technically proficient and confident in reviewing large volumes of tax returns. This role is ideal for individuals looking to transition into a managerial position. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing complex U.S. business tax returns, supervising and mentoring a team of tax professionals, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables in compliance with U.S. tax regulations, providing training and technical support to team members, and coordinating with U.S.-based managers and partners on client requirements. To excel in this role, you must possess at least 5-7 years of relevant experience in U.S. business tax, a strong understanding of U.S. tax compliance for partnerships, S corps, and C corps, experience in team management and reviewing tax deliverables, familiarity with tax software such as GoSystem, CCH Axcess, and Drake, as well as strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
