US Assurance Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, risk assessment, testing, and completion of audit engagements
• Take charge of moderately complex to complex engagements
• Develop realistic time budgets and manage audit requests to align with deadlines and client expectations
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff on technical aspects of the work
• Provide timely status updates to senior managers and directors, highlighting work progress and client-specific issues
• Adhere to audit methodologies and firm policies
• Build and maintain effective client relationships with a focus on quality and service excellence
• Ensure audit documentation is accurate, complete, and reviewed in line with requirements
• Design audit approaches and oversee the execution by audit teams
• Participate in mandatory technical learning sessions
• Review and finalize engagement reports

Requirements:

• Inter-CA/ACCA/CPA/CA

  qualification with

  5 to 7 years

  of experience in

  assurance

  or

  audit

• Strong knowledge of

  IFRS, US GAAP,

  and

  International Standards on Auditing

  (

  ISA

  )
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, manage ambiguity, and meet strict deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
• Sound understanding of business, industry trends, and technical accounting issues
• Proven ability to engage and build strong relationships at all organisational levels
