Assistant Manager - US Accounting

Role Overview: You will be responsible for reviewing the monthly closing of accounts, handling team activities, and ensuring completion of assigned work within deadlines. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing and preparing financial statements, double-checking bookkeeping and accounting work, communicating with clients/US office, preparing MIS reports including budgets, working on CPA work papers, assisting in income tax preparation and filing, preparing 1099s/W-2s, entering time in Intacct, monitoring systems and processes for improvement, managing employee relationships and performance, ensuring adherence to internal processes and systems, assisting management in enhancing client efficiency and profitability, collecting key data in a timely manner, and handling client billing for hourly clients. Qualification Required: - 8 to 12 years of experience in accounting and finance - Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and review - Experience in handling team activities and client communication - Proficiency in MIS reporting, budgeting, and tax preparation - Familiarity with CPA work papers, Intacct time entry, and employee performance management - Ability to monitor systems for improvement and ensure adherence to internal processes - Strong interpersonal skills for building employee relationships and client rapport - Detail-oriented with the ability to work under deadlines - CPA certification would be a plus Please note that the location of the office is Baroda, Gujarat.,
