Assistant manager - Underwriting Support

Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager in Underwriting Support at Allianz Services in Kharadi, Pune, your primary responsibility will be to assist the underwriting team in reviewing and processing workers" compensation insurance applications. Key Responsibilities: - Support the underwriting team in reviewing and processing workers" compensation insurance applications. - Gather and analyze data from various sources for risk assessment and premium calculation. - Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies and state regulations. - Communicate effectively with agents, brokers, and policyholders to obtain necessary information and clarify underwriting requirements. - Assist in preparing quotes, endorsements, and policy renewals. - Maintain accurate records and update internal systems with relevant underwriting information. - Collaborate with other departments, such as claims and customer service, to resolve issues and improve processes. Qualifications: - 8 to 12 years of experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance and underwriting support. - Experience in team handling, escalation management, and transitions. - Familiarity with general insurance policies and underwriting guidelines. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance. - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or related field preferred.,
