Assistant Manager -Sales

Role & responsibilities

• Support sales, marketing, and business development efforts for specialty chemicals targeting the coatings sector.

• Manage assigned product lines specific to industry we cater to.

• Assist in achieving sales targets and business objectives within designated territories.

• Identify new business opportunities by promoting products at trade events, digital channels, and through networking.

• Maintain relationships with key accounts, distributors, and customers; handle day-to-day queries and follow-ups.

• Conduct market analysis on competition, pricing, and trends to inform sales strategies.

• Collaborate with the sales team on lead generation and provide reports on pipeline and performance metrics.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 4 years of sales and marketing experience in paints, coatings, or construction chemicals industries.

• Proven track record of selling additives or raw materials to the coatings or construction chemical sector.
• Experience in a trading or distribution company will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable with travel.
