Assistant Manager - Restaurant Sales

As an Account Manager at Fairfield by Marriott Sriperumbudur, your role involves providing total account management support for assigned property accounts. By applying the principles of strategic account management, you will partner with Sales and Marketing leadership and the property Leadership team to develop a comprehensive strategic plan to grow market share from your assigned accounts. Your responsibilities include: - Developing and implementing the overall account strategy for assigned accounts. - Retaining, expanding, and growing account revenue of existing accounts through total account penetration, margin management, and implementation of sales and marketing initiatives. - Penetrating assigned accounts for group and transient business. - Exploring opportunities for extended stay and catering sales business. - Identifying and aggressively soliciting new accounts in coordination with relevant Sales and Marketing colleagues and Above Property Sales. - Building and strengthening accounts with existing and new customers, industry organizations, and brand network to enable future bookings. - Developing and implementing strategic sales plans. - Understanding the overall market dynamics, competitors" strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, etc., and how to sell to assigned accounts. - Achieving account revenue and sales goals as defined by Leadership. - Anticipating and identifying business opportunities and challenges and responding with a profitable strategy aligned with the overall business direction. In addition to your core work activities, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies, maintaining current business accounts, developing operating budgets, and participating in property-related events to support the development of existing and new accounts. Your qualification for this role includes a high school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or a related professional area. Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major is also accepted with no work experience required.
