Assistant Manager - R&D

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced AM R & D professional with 7 to 11 years of experience in the Agrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Organic Chemistry and experience in Research & Development, Synthesis, and ADL.

• Plan, set up, monitor, and work on chemical reactions.
• Monitor progress using standard methods and analytical techniques such as TLC, GC, HPLC, and LCMS.
• Isolate products and optimize reaction conditions for improved yields.
• Purify compounds using chromatography, distillation, and crystallization.
• Characterize and identify compounds using UV, IR, NMR, LCMS, and GCMS.
• Ensure parallel execution of multiple reactions conducted by self and the team.
• Scale up R&D developed products to kg scale.
• Coordinate with senior team members to manage and deliver projects on time with high-quality standards.
• Perform regular lab duties including equipment maintenance, chemical inventory management, and lab cleanup.
• Document reactions, research findings, and observations accurately in lab notebooks to ensure data integrity.
• Participate in project meetings and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for submission to the Manager.
• Maintain strict IP Confidentiality and adhere to all related data privacy policies.

• MSc in Organic Chemistry.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the Agrochemical industry.
• Strong knowledge of Research & Development, Synthesis, and ADL.
• Experience with UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMS.
• Familiarity with Brown Field Projects and Chemical Research.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
