Assistant Manager - Protection Underwriting

You will be responsible for appraising medical risks for life insurance applications, utilizing factors such as age, occupation, medical history, financial standing, and other relevant conditions that determine insurability. Your role will involve evaluating the level of risk involved in applications with adverse medical findings and making decisions where medical opinion is necessary for acceptance or rejection of insurance coverage. Additionally, you will be required to assess the medical condition and analyze test results of the applicants, underwrite new and existing business, and recommend, accept, or reject insurance coverage within the limits set in the underwriting policy. Handling routine, non-routine, and renewal cases, as well as referring difficult cases to superiors, will be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will assess financial documents and summarize the information.
