Assistant Manager Project

**Job Description:** **Role Overview:** As an Assistant Manager - Projects at Bunge located in Kandla, Gujarat, India, you will independently lead project execution on-site and manage stakeholders to ensure successful completion of deliverables. Your main accountability will be the safe execution of all project construction activities, collaborating with safety teams to finalize safe working methods. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead project execution independently to fulfill project scope within timelines and budget constraints - Monitor progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and timelines; report status, variances, and create action plans in consultation with team members - Prepare hazard identification mechanisms, risk analysis, and method statements for high-level project risks - Develop and implement risk mitigation and contingency plans to reduce or eliminate project risks - Review and collaborate on BOQ for procurement, working closely with Procurement & User teams - Assist Project Manager in project cost estimation, schedule, and scope document preparation - Implement BPS Project Management Pillar related requirements and take charge of specific deliverables independently **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering - 5-6 years of experience in project management and execution - Knowledge of safety practices in construction and project management processes & activities - Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Projects), AutoCAD, and SAP - Experience in managing procurement activities, vendors, and consultants - Knowledge of the edible oil industry will be preferable **Additional Company Details:** Bunge (NYSE: BG) is a global leader in sourcing, processing, and supplying oilseed and grain products.
