-Literature searching through various databases to execute the project.
-Isolation of marker compounds from herbal raw materials.
-Development of analytical methods for estimation of marker compounds in the raw material and final product.
-Preparation of SOPs related to phytochemistry department.
-Maintenance, periodic calibration, validation of all equipment of phytochemistry.
-To develop new extraction techniques in line with latest in the field and with a view to reduce the cost of extraction; improve the efficiency of extraction.
-Responsible for publication of new research findings & patenting.
-Co-ordination with different universities and research institutes to carry out the project work.
-Responsible to ensure the delivery of results within stipulated timelines.
-Presentation of work and scientific updates to higher management
-Scientific up gradation of Phytochemistry lab.
