Job Description

As the Assistant Manager of Performance Services in APEC, your role will involve working with property sales, revenue, and marketing leaders to manage performance management platforms. You will provide regular feedback on associate performance and collaborate closely with APEC Sales, Revenue Management & Marketing Leadership Team and Global Performance Services Team to execute Global and Continent initiatives effectively. Your responsibilities will include proactively monitoring hotel, market, cluster, and national sales, revenue, and marketing team performance. You will conduct analysis of issues, provide specific knowledge to support analysis efforts, assist with openings and conversions, and provide training on new tools, systems, and programs. Your primary accountability will be performance monitoring and ensuring proper usage of systems/tools. Qualifications Required: - 3-year degree from an accredited university - Minimum 7 - 8 years of experience in sales, revenue management, or marketing in Marriott hotels Key Responsibilities: - Manage performance management platforms and provide regular feedback on associate performance - Collaborate with APEC and Global teams to execute initiatives effectively - Monitor sales, revenue, and marketing team performance and conduct analysis - Assist with openings, conversions, and training on new tools, systems, and programs - Ensure proper usage of systems/tools and provide necessary training In terms of skills, you are required to have: - Positive can-do attitude & strong work ethics - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Detail oriented, highly organized, and keen to pursue excellence - Skilled in time management, ability to prioritize tasks, and multitask when required - Ability to work well in a team environment and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders - Robust problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to learn quickly, apply knowledge, and support positive change - Innovative thinker, challenging organizational norms for improvement Technical Skills Required: - Proficiency in Excel for data analysis - Ability to create effective PowerPoint presentations - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Good knowledge of sales, revenue management, and marketing processes - Familiarity with various platforms such as Global Goal Tool, MI LEADS, Brilliant, Golden Circle, etc. - Proactive approach to learning Performance Measurement practices In addition, you will be expected to demonstrate management competencies including: - Leadership in adapting to change, effective communication, problem-solving, and decision making - Managing execution by building and contributing to teams, driving for results, and planning and organizing - Building relationships with coworkers and customers, and maintaining a global mindset - Generating talent and organizational capability through talent management and organizational evaluation - Learning and applying professional expertise in business and technical acumen, analysis, and basic competencies This is a remote working position, offering you the opportunity to contribute to the high performance of sales, revenue management & marketing associates in APEC region.,
