Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager NPD (Packaging & Corrugation) to lead new product development in corrugated and secondary/tertiary packaging. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of packaging technologies and a proven ability to drive innovation, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead NPD projects focused on corrugated boxes, cartons, and other packaging materials.
Collaborate with Design, Procurement, Production, and Sales teams to develop efficient and sustainable packaging solutions.
Work closely with vendors for sampling, prototyping, and testing of packaging materials.
Conduct quality, performance, and durability tests of new designs and materials.
Ensure adherence to client specifications, industry regulations, and sustainability standards.
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, reports, and drawings.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely execution.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Expertise in corrugated box manufacturing, structural packaging, and die-line development.
Knowledge of materials such as Kraft paper, liners, adhesives, and board grades.
Hands-on experience with packaging design software (e.g., ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD) is a plus.
Understanding of cost optimization, supply chain dynamics, and vendor coordination.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
