Assistant Manager- Litigation (Indirect Taxation)

As an Assistant Manager Finance (Indirect Taxation) at our Gurugram location, your role will involve preparing and drafting replies/submissions to be filed with tax authorities. You will be responsible for compiling data required for analysis by the manager, as well as coordinating with multiple teams to extract and compile necessary information for tax authorities. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating MIS reports and trackers for ongoing matters concerning the company. Your responsibilities will also include staying updated on recent developments in tax laws that may impact the business, conducting in-house research to assess tax implications for operational efficiencies and new business models/products. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the preparation and filing of GST returns, reconciliations, and other related tasks as assigned. This role offers a mix of litigation and compliance work related to India's indirect taxes. We are seeking a candidate who is a CA/LLB with 2-4 years of experience in GST advisory, litigation, and compliances. A working knowledge of GST and basic accounting principles is required. Proficiency in Ms-Excel, the ability to handle and analyze complex data, and a learning approach are essential.
