Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Research & Development - Design

  • Perform market study based on the research on new jewelry & stone settings, and design & prepare innovative jewelry ideas using sketches and technically sound drawings.
  • Study and learn thoroughly jewelry making process, materials and components to create clear and meticulous designs and sketches.
  • Develop new concepts according to the prevailing market trends and also taking customer briefs into consideration.

Design

  • To prepare jewelry presentations for the new collection and design selection for the perusal of the customers and shows based on the brief and decided budget.
  • Develop an entire design range considering the international jewelry design trends for unique brand positioning.
  • Incorporate modern & traditional styles of jewelry design to invoke uniqueness in the designs of the brand.
  • Conceptualize and design prototypes.
  • Identify with expertise and design innovative and attractive jewelry pieces in accordance to brand aesthetic along with target cost points.
  • Check with the clients for the satisfaction with the design made and remodel, if necessary, as per the clients requirements.
  • Focus on bridal designs & styles, and create new & authentic designs for the orders taken from the stylists.
  • Ensure to complete projects as per product development guidelines and on time.

Coordination

  • Determine the objectives and constraints of the design brief by consulting with clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing & Product merchandising teams to understand their design requirements in order to make sketches for the jewelry.
  • Modify and integrate new features in samples creatively and coordinate for meeting the clients expectations.
  • Negotiate design solutions with clients, management, and sales and manufacturing team.
  • Handle HNI Customers and ensure customer delight.
  • Understand all the client needs in detail, capture it as per the MGD SOP and communicate to the central bespoke team for execution as suggested by the client.
  • Coordinate with customer and central bespoke team to deliver customer demands.
  • Ensure relevant design sketches and advice are provided to the customers as per their needs.

Internal process

  • Ensure that all activities are carried out as per the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Track and analyze reports related to Customer Service and provide insights and actionable recommendations to improve the overall performance.
