Job Description: Deputy Manager IT Infrastructure Parksons Packaging Ltd., Chakan Plant, Maharashtra Position Overview Parksons Packaging Ltd., a leader in the packaging industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Deputy Manager IT Infrastructure for our state-of-the-art Chakan Plant in Maharashtra. This pivotal role is designed for a hands-on IT professional with a proven track record in managing robust IT environments within the manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our plants IT infrastructure, supporting both day-to-day operations and future expansion initiatives. Location • Chakan Plant, Maharashtra Experience Required • 67 years of progressive, hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities • • • Lead and manage IT infrastructure operations at the Chakan plant, ensuring seamless connectivity, uptime, and availability of IT services. Support deployment of IT infrastructure for current and future plant expansion projects, working closely with project teams to deliver scalable solutions. Standardize and roll out IT SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) across newly acquired entities to ensure consistency and compliance with corporate IT policies. • • Install, congure, and troubleshoot network components including LANs, WANs, Wi-Fi networks, ber optic connections, switches, routers, and rewalls. Monitor Security Operations Center (SOC) alerts, respond to security incidents, and collaborate with the central IT security team to safeguard plant systems and data.


• • • • • • Assist in software asset management and license compliance, ensuring all software used at the plant is properly licensed and inventoried. Implement and manage Active Directory (AD) infrastructure, including group policy management and user access controls. Supervise L1 IT support sta, providing guidance, mentorship, and escalation support to resolve complex technical issues eiciently. Provide prompt IT support to senior management, plant leadership, and critical plant operations to minimize downtime and disruptions. Congure and maintain server infrastructure including Windows Servers, FTP servers, le servers, and QNAP NAS storage devices. Manage backup schedulesincluding daily, weekly, and incremental backups and carry out restoration procedures as needed to ensure data integrity and business continuity. • • Administer and troubleshoot Sophos Firewall and Sophos AntiVirus solutions (preferred experience). Support industrial devices such as barcode printers, scanners, and NiceLabel software (added advantage). Desired Skills & Qualications • Bachelors degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Strong technical knowledge and practical experience of IT systems and infrastructure in a manufacturing environment. • • • • • • Procient in installation, conguration, and troubleshooting of Windows Servers, network hardware (switches, routers, rewalls), and IT security tools. Comprehensive understanding and experience with Active Directory, NAS systems, backup and restoration solutions, and remote troubleshooting. Hands-on expertise in the administration of security platforms, especially Sophos Firewall and Sophos AntiVirus, is highly desirable. Experience working with and supporting industrial devices (e.g., barcode printers/scanners, NiceLabel software) is an added advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact e¢ectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and non-technical plant personnel. • Proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
