Job Description

As an Assistant Manager - Underwriting Support at Genpact, you will utilize your experience and knowledge of insurance/reinsurance and underwriting processes to process transactions for the Underwriting Support Teams and communicate effectively with the Onsite Team. **Responsibilities:** - Transaction processing for Underwriting Support Teams - Communicating with the Onsite Team - Risk Clearance, Bind & Issue, Endorsement Processing, Renewal Processing - Providing good customer service and articulating resolutions clearly - Handling varied workloads to meet targets and deadlines - Processing different types of system transactions within the established authority level - Supporting Conversion activities post and pre as allocated - Handling time-bound cases - Performing other support/admin tasks as assigned **Qualifications:** **Minimum Qualifications / Skills:** - Graduate in any discipline - Good understanding of P&C products - Knowledge of the Underwriting lifecycle - Customer focus, teamwork, accountability, initiative, and innovation - Fluent in English language - both written and oral **Relevant work Experience:** - Insurance domain awareness - Good knowledge of MS Office - Certification on one of the streams i.e., IIA, Cert CII, AINS, CPCU certification, etc. - Knowledge of P&C insurance - Understanding of US Underwriting, Policy binding and Issuance - Knowledge of Premium bearing & non premium bearing endorsement - Knowledge of Renewal & Non-Renewal,
