Assistant Manager - Human Resources

Assistant Manager Human Resources We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented AM/DM Human Resources to support and drive core HR operations with a focus on Payroll Management, HR data handling, and employee engagement . The ideal candidate should have a strong background in HR processes, excellent command over Excel, and effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and functions. Key Responsibilities: Payroll & Compliance Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing in coordination with finance and external vendors. Ensure accuracy in salary computations, reimbursements, tax deductions, and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, etc.). Handle employee queries related to payroll, income tax, and final settlements. HR Operations & Data Management Maintain and update HR databases, employee records, and MIS reports. Prepare dashboards and reports on headcount, attrition, leave, and HR metrics. Support in HR audits, documentation, and process compliance. Employee Life Cycle Management Support onboarding, background verification, and documentation. Manage employee exits including clearance, feedback, and full & final settlement. Coordinate for confirmation, appraisal, and internal movement processes. Employee Engagement & Communication Drive employee engagement initiatives, R&R programs, and communication campaigns. Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and support resolutions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 4–5 years of relevant experience in HR operations and payroll. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel – pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards. Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills . Detail-oriented, organized, and a team player.
