Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager at Reckitt, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing Level 1 tasks related to HR Services Global Immigration. You will play a significant role in contributing to strategic objectives for Immigration. Your main focus will be on ensuring immigration operations are running smoothly, maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors, and assisting international transferees with complex paperwork queries to obtain work authorization. Additionally, you will be responsible for staying updated on immigration regulations and policies globally, maintaining internal process documents, and ensuring employee satisfaction in leading immigration initiatives and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Strong subject matter expertise in Immigration for work authorizations and day-to-day operations. - Ensure immigration operations are Business as Usual (BAU) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met according to organizational standards. - Maintain cordial working relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors. - Assist international transferees with complex paperwork queries for work authorization. - Handle stakeholders' complex queries over the phone, in meetings, and via emails. - Utilize advanced knowledge of the end user ServiceNow & HR SuccessFactors platform and applicable vendors' tools. - Oversee daily follow-up with transferees to ensure immigration workflow closures. - Stay updated on immigration regulations and policies globally and ensure organizational practices align with current laws. - Own, maintain, and update internal process documents to align with current immigration laws. - Independently operate to ensure employee satisfaction in leading immigration initiatives and best practices. - Utilize advanced HR Reporting and Data Analytics skills for strategy execution. - Demonstrate outstanding written and oral communication skills, including review/presentation expertise. - Manage ambiguity and convert gaps/issues into opportunities for HR Services Immigration Services. - Possess advanced Microsoft Office skills. Qualifications Required: - 8 to 10 years of relevant Immigration Working Experience. - 2 to 3 years of relevant people management experience. - Proficiency in Immigration Laws, including UK, US, and Netherlands Immigration Laws. - Critical Thinking & Decision Making skills. - Mid-Level Task Complexity: Ability to guide team in solving complex tasks & queries. - Responsibility: Ownership of service line tasks and responsibility to complete tasks within defined SLAs. - Supervisory Responsibility: This role involves supervisory responsibility, including support in the hiring process, providing timely feedback to team members, handling escalations, and providing inputs to leadership on performance evaluation.
