Assistant Manager - Global Sourcing

As an Assistant Manager in the Global Sourcing team, you will play a crucial role within the International Procurement Team. Your primary responsibility will be to handle sourcing activities related to Mechanical and Electrical Products such as casting, forging, sheet metal, DCS, Automation, etc. These products are essential for Power Sector EPC projects worldwide, with a specific focus on sourcing from and into India. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work closely with the International Procurement Team to identify sourcing opportunities for Mechanical and Electrical Products. - Manage the sourcing process for casting, forging, sheet metal, DCS, Automation, and other related products. - Collaborate with suppliers in India to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials. - Conduct negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing for the organization. - Monitor market trends and supplier performance to optimize sourcing strategies. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field. - Proven experience in sourcing Mechanical and Electrical Products, preferably in the Power Sector. - Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers. - Excellent communication and analytical abilities to effectively manage sourcing activities.,
