Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Manager GIS to oversee and manage GIS-related projects, data management, and analysis. The role involves leading teams, ensuring accuracy in spatial data, and providing geospatial insights to support business and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end GIS projects, from data collection to analysis and reporting.
Oversee preparation, updating, and maintenance of GIS databases, maps, and spatial datasets.
Conduct spatial analysis, geocoding, and cartographic visualization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS solutions into business processes.
Ensure quality control and accuracy of GIS data and outputs.
Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to GIS team members.
Stay updated with emerging GIS technologies, tools, and best practices.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.).
Strong knowledge of spatial analysis, remote sensing, and geospatial data management.
Hands-on experience with databases (SQL, PostgreSQL/PostGIS preferred).
Good understanding of GPS, mapping techniques, and cartography.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
