Job Description

As an Assistant Manager in the Engineering Department at our Indore Plant, you will be a crucial part of our team, focusing on ensuring engineering excellence, regulatory compliance, system uptime, and continuous improvement in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. We are looking for experienced professionals with expertise in Electrical / Instrumentation / Control Systems, Mechanical Process Maintenance, HVAC / AHU / Utilities, or Process Engineering. If you specialize in Electrical / Instrumentation / Control Systems, your responsibilities will include overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical panels, drives, and automation systems. You will lead calibration programs for critical instruments, ensure electrical safety compliance, develop preventive maintenance schedules, and drive cost-effective energy usage. For those focusing on Mechanical Process Maintenance, you will lead maintenance activities for production and packaging machinery, coordinate with various teams to minimize downtime, support CAPEX projects, and conduct root cause analysis. In the area of AHU / Utilities, you will manage the operation and performance of HVAC and utility systems, ensuring compliance with GMP & environmental standards. Your tasks will include monitoring temperature, humidity, differential pressure compliance, coordinating validation activities, and driving efficiency improvement projects. If your expertise lies in Process Engineering, you will support process design improvements, participate in validation activities, collaborate on continuous improvement projects, and assist in the qualification of new processes. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B.E. / B.Tech degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or a related Engineering field, with at least 6-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical / API / chemical / FMCG manufacturing. Sound knowledge of GMP, regulatory audits, safety practices, and hands-on experience in the relevant areas are essential. Experience in team management is an added advantage. We are looking for candidates with strong leadership, team coordination, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and documentation capabilities, familiarity with SAP / ERP systems, and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities are also crucial.
